OMRON states all of its blood pressure monitors have been clinically validated for use on adults in the general population, but we were unable to find a specific validation for this model (BP7000 HEM-7600T-Z).

Irregular heartbeat detection works by analyzing the pulse during a blood pressure measurement. If an irregularity is detected, the device displays an irregular heartbeat icon. This feature does not replace a doctor’s examination but helps to detect an irregular heartbeat at an early stage.
Body movement detection alerts the user if any movement during the blood pressure reading may have compromised the measurement. This is to ensure more accurate and reliable blood pressure readings.
