Affiliate Disclosure
Last reviewed: August 2026
1. Overview
Active Heart Health Ltd participates in the Amazon Associates affiliate programme. This means that some links on this website are affiliate links.
If you use an affiliate link and your purchase qualifies under the relevant affiliate programme, the retailer pays Active Heart Health a commission. This does not increase the price you pay.
Affiliate commissions are one way Active Heart Health may generate revenue from the website.
2. How affiliate links work
Affiliate links may contain identifiers that allow a retailer to recognise that a visit or qualifying purchase was referred by Active Heart Health.
If you follow an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, Active Heart Health earns commission from the retailer in accordance with the Amazon Associates affiliate programme.
Depending on the affiliate programme, we may receive information about referrals and qualifying purchases, such as clicks, products ordered or commission earned. We do not receive your payment-card details or full customer account information simply because you use an affiliate link.
Where you have provided the relevant consent for website analytics, we may also record that an affiliate link has been clicked so that we can understand how visitors use our website. Further information is provided in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Amazon Associates
Active Heart Health participates in the Amazon Associates programme.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
References to Amazon products are provided for convenience only. Product details may change over time. Current pricing, availability and purchase information should always be checked on the relevant Amazon website before purchase.
4. How affiliate content is identified
We identify affiliate content clearly where it appears so that readers can understand the commercial relationship before or when they encounter the relevant affiliate link.
On individual product review pages that contain Amazon affiliate links, we provide a prominent Affiliate Disclosure near the beginning of the page. Links that take you directly to Amazon through an affiliate link are also identified nearby as “Paid affiliate link”.
On listing or collection pages that link to individual reviews containing affiliate links, we may provide an upfront notice explaining that the linked reviews contain Amazon affiliate links.
The website footer also contains our Amazon Associate disclosure.
Where affiliate content is shared through social media or other communications, we identify its commercial nature clearly and prominently in the relevant communication.
5. Editorial independence
We are committed to transparency and editorial independence.
Affiliate relationships and commission rates do not determine our research methods, review scores, evidence assessments or editorial conclusions.
We aim to present balanced, evidence-informed information about consumer health products in line with the educational purpose of this website. The inclusion of an affiliate link does not mean that a product is clinically endorsed, medically necessary or suitable for every reader.
Where we have an affiliate relationship relating to a product discussed on the website, we disclose that commercial relationship separately from our editorial assessment.
6. Third-party websites and purchases
When you click an affiliate link, you leave this website and move to a third-party website. We do not control third-party retailer websites, product listings, stock availability, pricing, delivery terms, or after-sales service.
Any purchase you make will be subject to the third party's own terms, conditions, policies, and handling of your personal data.
7. Geographic scope
Affiliate links and product information on this website are intended primarily for consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Affiliate programmes, retailer websites, product availability and pricing vary between countries. Links may therefore not be available or relevant in every location.
